Assignment 2-Nutritional Wookbook

Introduction

Firstly, we must know how to used Microsoft word and excel. We are asked by our instructor to do IT assignment. It is about nutritional information of any food that I had choosen.We are also can find the nutritional information just searching on the internet so that it can be more easier to get. After that, I have to identify 15 types of food (any kinds of food) and we must record the serving size, fat in grams and calories.

Nutritional Information
Nutrition (also called nourishment or aliment) is the provision, to cells and organisms, of the materials necessary (in the form of food) to support life. Many common health problems can be prevented or alleviated with a healthy diet.
The diet of an organism is what it eats, which is largely determined by the perceived palatability of foods. Dietitians are health professionals who specialize in human nutrition, meal planning, economics, and preparation. They are trained to provide safe, evidence-based dietary advice and management to individuals (in health and disease), as well as to institutions. Clinical nutritionists are health professionals who focus more specifically on the role of nutrition in chronic disease, including possible prevention or remediation by addressing nutritional deficiencies before resorting to drugs.
The nutrition facts label (also known as the nutrition information panel, and various other slight variations) is a label required on most packaged food in many countries.

Here is my assignment according to the nutritional workbook task 1(Data Collection).Its has been arranged in a perfect Microsoft excel.

Task 2, its vLookUp. All the information data of nutritional facts had been entered to Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Here, I have been used formula to get the total of fat (grams) and calories. Formula I had used to calculate are listed below:-
=(B3*C3) means to find the total of fat(grams)
=(B3*D3) means to get the total calories and then followed by other.
=(Grams of fat*9/Total calories per serving)*100 means to calculate the percentage      of calories from fat.
Here show the percentage of calories from fat is less than 2, the cell with blue shading else with green shading.





Task 3, Charts show the fat (grams) and calories of all food that I have stated as above.


 
Another chart that shows the percentage of calories from fat calculated.



Conclusion
From all what I had gain is, it make me more understanding and more new knowledge that I haven’t done it before this. This is much challenging to me even thought it looks simple but to me it’s hard and creativities are very useful here.
My difficulty is when I’m gonna to do the chart, if some data or information missing then your chart also can be made. If the chart creates, may be it look weird and none of the question want.
