INSTRUCTION FOR DOING FLARING, SWAGING AND BRAZING (PIPING)

• 1. Wear PPE (goggle).

1. 2.Prepare all tools like copper pipe, reamer, pipe cutter, brazing rod, etc.

1. 3.Measure, mark and cut the copper pipe according to the required measurement.

• 4.     Bend the copper pipe using a pipe bender up to required degree.

1. 5. Ream both ends of the pipe until they are smooth.

1. 6.Swage one end using mallet until it reaches the standard measurement.

1. 7. Flare the other end using the flaming tool.

1. 8.Join this copper pipe with another one.

1. 9. Clean the joint area with sand paper and then put the pipe to the bench vice and tighten it.

1. 10. To start brazing at the joint open the oxygen and oxy-acetylene.

1. 11.Spark the fire using a spark gun and do brazing until it covered the complete area.

1. 12.Remove the pipe from the bench vice using tongs. 
2. 13.Clean and smoothen the pipe using Sand Paper.
